Leadership Pensacola 2012 Class
Pensacola only has one chance to make a first impression.
This is particularly true with the thousands of military personnel who visit our community each month as they begin or continue their military service to our nation. For most, their first impression of Pensacola comes from the USO’s Flight Deck at the Pensacola International Airport and The USO Hangar at NAS Pensacola.
Both facilities are in significant need of renovation and repair.
That is why this year’s Leadership Pensacola Class overwhelmingly selected Operation Hope as the project it will be dedicating its time, talents and resources to supporting.
Operation Hope will completely renovate both of these facilities and show our nation’s heroes just how much Pensacola values their service and sacrifice.
For a total cost of $125,000, each of these locations will be transformed from outdated and cramped destinations to modern and impressive facilities representative of our community’s long standing support for our nation’s heroes. For the 80,000 troops who pass through these facilities each year, this effort is long overdue.
