2004 LeaP Class Launches Project SwimSAFE

The Leadership Pensacola (LeaP) Class of 2004 is proud to join local groups working to improve water safety on Pensacola Beach through Project SwimSAFE.

“Since the beaches play a major role for our local citizens as well as tourists, efforts to keep beachgoers safe are a necessity,” says Brett Berg, LeaP Steering Committee co-chairman.

The LeaP 2004 Class created Project SwimSAFE to increase public awareness and public safety and as a fund-raising effort to provide equipment and educational materials that will increase awareness of beach conditions.

Project SwimSAFE is about making the beaches of the Pensacola Bay Area safer. Through Project SwimSAFE, civic and community-minded people can come together to help save lives.
